Reliable opinion
Yes, you had to stop the scooter and put the front down if you wanted to go around. When I didn't know how to bowl, it went around. Nowadays a one-piece block is a two-piece block. Went around and then we were in the ditch. Yes, the brake shoes made the car stop and quickly bow down, but the driver's skill was gone.
